Taste at the Ken Wright Cellars Winery Thanksgiving Weekend:
Join us at our annual winery open house the Friday & Saturday of Thanksgiving every year to barrel taste the new Pinot Noir vintage and purchase futures! This has been an annual tradition for Ken Wright since his first open house in 1987. During that first open house at his first winery called Panther Creek Cellars, Ken was sampling a barrel of Canary Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir, that he was especially excited about. The first couple to arrive tasted the wine and fell in love. They asked Ken if they could purchase the wine at that moment to ensure delivery when bottled. With legal pad and pen in hand, Ken took their information and completed his first futures sale. The wine futures concept continued to organically grow when Ken founded Ken Wright Cellars in 1994. To this day, purchasing Ken’s single vineyard Pinot noir on wine futures it is still the least expensive way to acquire his wine. This is our favorite annual tradition and we hope you can join us!
